Recently, one of the most impressive films of the XX International Documentary Film Festival "Apricot Tree" - "Only Godard" by directors Arnaud Lambert and Vincent Sorel was screened at the large hall of the National Library of Armenia.

The film focuses on Godard's art and its importance for the development of world cinema. The film presents the most striking moments of Godard's life and behind-the-scenes stories of films, and demonstrates the director's influence on different generations of filmmakers.

For the third year in a row, the National Library of Armenia, in cooperation with the Filmadaran NGO for the development of film culture, the National Library, the Embassy of France in Armenia/French Institute, has been hosting a film club presenting a selection of French films. The films are shown in French with Armenian and English subtitles.
