The Armenian National Library maintains its collaboration with the scientific and cultural organizations of the Armenian Diaspora. Dr. Andranik Dakesyan, the director of the Center for Armenian Diaspora Studies at the "Haikazian" University in Lebanon, was recently in the library.

During the meeting between Dr. Andranik Dakesyan and Anna Chulyan, the Director of the National Library of Armenia, possible ways of cooperation, prospects for implementing joint programs, and formats for exchanging information and scientific resources were discussed. The parties underlined how crucial it is to keep up these reciprocal visits and partnership relationships in order to support the growth and fortification of the Armenian scientific and cultural community. Among the educational institutions of the Armenian Diaspora, the only higher educational institution of the Armenian Diaspora, Haigazian University of Beirut, has a unique place. It stands out both among the educational institutions of the Armenian Diaspora communities in Lebanon and in general, as well as among the Armenian Evangelical educational institutions.

Since 1970, the university has been publishing the “Haigazian Armenological Review”. It introduces newly discovered Armenian manuscripts, works on Armenology published in the Republic of Armenia and the Diaspora, and provides information about international conferences dedicated to Armenology. All issues of “Haigazian Armenological Review” are available in the “Hay Mamoul” electronic database of the National Library of Armenia. https://is.gd/s9KRrW
