Within the framework of the National Library Week, Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the National Library of Armenia Haykanush Ghazaryan presented the databases of the National Library of Armenia.In the age of digital virtual content, the role of electronic storage is undeniable. The online resources of the National Library of Armenia are an integral part of the virtual world, which is used daily, hourly by students and teachers, sociologists and journalists, librarians and researchers.

Deputy Director Haykanush Ghazaryan presented the repositories and sub-repositories of the National Library, the nuances of their use, and the opportunities they provide. Armenian Book, Armenian Press, Digital Repository (Publications, Dissertations, Armenica Collection, Vanishing Heritage of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), International Media about Artsakh, Non-Book Publications). Just listing the repositories of the National Library gives an idea of the volume of online materials.

As the deputy director noted, each of the collections has its own sub-sub-sub storage facilities, which reveal new sources to the researcher. The electronic repository is an indispensable tool for those engaged in scientific work. Let us remind you that the National Library is confidently moving towards tagging electronic material; a certain amount of data has already been tagged, which greatly facilitates searching.
