June 1 - World Children's Day. This day is a global reminder of the importance of protecting children's rights and promoting their well-being. World Children's Day was established in Paris in 1949 by the Women's International Democratic Federation and was first celebrated in 1950. June 1 is a day to recognize the challenges facing children around the world and take action to ensure they have a safe and happy childhood. On the occasion of Children’s Day, a concert and exhibition “Bur Asth” was organized in the Great Hall named after Tamanyan of the National Library of Armenia with the assistance of the cultural organization “Maestro”.

The hall was full, there were no empty seats. Many talented young musicians performed at the event. The goal of the Bur Asth project is to introduce the pearls of Armenian national and world musical art. The concert was attended by talented young performers from music schools in Yerevan and the regions, whose performances delighted the audience, accompanied by stormy and prolonged applause. Piano, cello, saxophone, drums and other musical instruments received a completely new sound thanks to the skills of talented children. At the end of the event, participants and guests got acquainted with the exhibition of handicrafts by students of the Meghradzor Public House of Culture of Kotayk Region.
