On July 2, the next screening of the Cinema Club was held at the National Library of Armenia. This time the guests watched the film Hiroshima Mon Amour by Alain Resnais. This is a wonderful story about the love of a French film actress and a Japanese architect, which began in post-war Hiroshima. The entire film is a conversation between two characters talking about love, death, memory and oblivion at the same time.

“Filmadaran”, cinematographer Garegin Zakoyan, all the leading directors of the French New Wave highly appreciated Alain Resnais’ film. The film is very sincere from beginning to end, and the viewer experiences everything along with the characters. Zakoyan notes that this is a kind of educational film that tells you what an emotion is and where it is located.
