Restoration of printed materials is one of the main means of preserving cultural heritage. Books, manuscripts and printed documents are exposed to time, light, and humidity or are damaged during maintenance. The restoration process includes cleaning the pages of literature, repairing tears, preparing a new binding or reconstructing the original using special materials and technologies.

Such training is extremely important, as it helps departments to promptly identify problems related to the preservation and care of books, as well as transfer the necessary skills and knowledge to young employees.
