The National Library of Armenia invites researchers, educators, and members of the academic community to participate in the two-day international conference titled, “France-Armenia։ Diplomatic and Intercultural Relations”, which will be held on April 29-30, 2025. The conference aims to undertake a comprehensive study of the complex historical, diplomatic, and cultural relations between France and Armenia, within the framework of their long-standing dialogue spanning centuries.

Historical Relations: Crusades, Cilicia, Armenian resistance Diplomacy: Interstate relations, Francophonie, parliamentary cooperation Intercultural Relations: Fine arts, music, cinema, theatre, architecture Language: Armenological studies and lexicography Literature: Literary interactions and awards Translation Studies: Literary translations and current projects Publishing: History of publishing, French-Armenian publishing houses Heritage Preservation: Restoration, digitization, and archival cooperation Submission Requirements To present a paper at the conference, participants are required to submit a completed application form (annex 1), a brief abstract of the paper (300-500 words), and a short bio (about 150 words) to the email address dialogue.armfr@gmail.com by February 3, 2025. The official languages of the conference are Armenian, French, and English. The travel and accommodation expenses of the conference participants are covered by the participant.
