On July 9, a group of employees from the Cooperation and Book Exchange Department of the National Library of Armenia visited the Syunik Regional Library. As part of a subsidy provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Science, the libraries of the Syunik region (the villages of Sisian Sheki, Shagat, the Sisian City Cultural Center named after Hamo Sahyan), the Meghri Regional Cultural Center and the Gusan Ashot Cultural Center in Goris as part of replenishing the funds of the Kajaran libraries the public house received 359 units of literature.

During the visit, the representatives got acquainted with the activities of the Syunik regional library departments, inspected the work on replenishing and developing the library fund, studied the organization, use and preservation of the fund of the children's, art, bibliographic departments, learned about the library programs and discussed the needs of libraries.

Works of art by Armenian and foreign writers, scientific, historical literature, and literature on other topics were transferred to the libraries. Regular visits to regional and community libraries are essential to understanding their needs and finding effective ways to assist.
