Recently, Karo Terunyan, a research fellow at the professional music library GOHAR of Lebanon, donated 10 books to the National Library of Armenia. These are mostly publications from the 19th and early 20th centuries, published in Constantinople, Tiflis, Venice, Vienna, Smyrna, Moscow, and Vagharshapat.
Three books are not in the collection of the National Library, which further increases the value of the donation. These are the books “The Constitution of Turkey and the Young Turk Parties” (Tbilisi, 1908), Garegin Hovsepyan’s historical and bibliographical study “The Khosrov Translator” (Vagharshapat, 1899) and “The Smell of Javakhk” by ethnographer Yervand Lalayan (Tbilisi, 1892). We are grateful to Karo Terunyan for his valuable donation and ongoing support for replenishing the collection of the National Library.
