"I will die standing, not lying in bed" Hrant Dink. On December 20, the Bibliography and Library Science Department of the National Library of Armenia hosted a lecture by PhD in History, Associate Professor Nune Sarumyan, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of Hrant Dink, an Armenian journalist from Istanbul and editor-in-chief of "Agos", the only monthly newspaper published in Armenian and Turkish in Turkey.

During the event, Nune Sarumyan spoke about Hrant Dink's life and work and reflected on his efforts to establish dialogue, mutual understanding, and peace between the two neighboring nations. The speaker especially emphasized the importance of Dink's work in improving Turkish-Armenian relations and recognizing the Armenian Genocide.

Dink's most famous ideas were voiced during the lecture, inspiring new generations to be courageous and fight for tomorrow.

The event featured materials published in periodicals. On the occasion of Dink’s 70th anniversary, the Bibliography Department compiled a methodological and bibliographic list summarizing the works published in the press of Armenia and the Diaspora from 2005 to 2024. These are books, articles and other materials about Hrant Dink. The list of materials will soon be published on the National Library’s digital publications platform.
