A celebration of the 110th and 105th anniversaries of renowned Armenian bibliographers Hrachya Kostikyan and Amalia Kirakosyan was held on October 14 in the reading room of the Bibliography and Library Science Department of the National Library of Armenia. During the event, an exhibition was also opened that showcased the bibliographers' literary legacy, the books they wrote, edited, and compiled, along with important materials pertaining to their work.

The Chief Bibliographer of the Department of Bibliography and Library Science, Naira Melkonyan, presented the professional contributions of both bibliographers. The meeting was also attended by members of Hrachya Kostikyan’s family, who shared warm memories. Nerses Hayrapetyan, Kostikyan’s student, spoke about Hrachya Kostikyan, his works and translations, and his activities as the founder of the University Chair.

The exhibition emphasized the two bibliographers' significant contributions to bibliography and library science once more. The event also featured a speech by Rafik Ghazaryan, the vice president of the Armenian Library Association and a librarian and bibliographer.
