The National Library of Armenia showed another film from the Cinema Club: Cleo from 5 to 7 by Agnès Varda. The film presents the pop singer's thoughts on life and death in a combination of documentary and fiction styles. The action of the film takes place as if in real time, that is, the one-and-a-half-hour film talks about one and a half hours of the heroine’s life. Varda uses film techniques typical of French New Wave cinema. According to film expert Garegin Zakoyan, the founding president of the public organization for the development of film culture “Filmadaran,” this is the most recognized film by Agnès Varda. The filmmaker emphasized that Agnès Varda's films are diverse, multi-genre and multi-stylistic.
