“The book mentions the words of the great Levon Nersisyan: “Maestro, you are the bridge that others will cross.” Kochar interrupts angrily: “Boy, what are you talking about? I am both the bridge and the person crossing it.” That is why we must have Kochar in us. All the stories in this book are irrefutably unique and follow the path that Kochar followed, remaining exclusively art himself. With my art."
The Yervand Kochar House-Museum donated the above-mentioned book “Maestro Kochar. A collection of memories." The book presents statements and observations of the outstanding Armenian artist-sculptor Yervand Kochar. The book was compiled and edited by Anatoly Oganesyan and Lala Martirosyan-Kochar.
His contemporaries shared their memories of the maestro: Ruben Adalyan, Varazdat Harutyunyan, Ghukas Chubaryan, Grigor Hasratyan, Robert Elibekyan, Vigen Isahakyan, Edward Isabekyan, Margo Ghukasyan, Ara Vakhuni, Kochar’s sons and others.
