The other day, famous journalist Irina Tosunyan visited the library. She donated three wonderful books with her autograph to the library. In addition to books, she also returned to the library a book with an interesting fate, taken by her grandfather in the 1960s and published in St. Petersburg at the end of the 19th century.

The book is divided into 4 parts. The author talks about the role of Armenians in the life of neighboring peoples, mentions the relations of Armenians with the Assyrians, Medes, Parthians, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Ottoman Turks and others, presents Cilicia, Armenia, the era of Toros 1st and 2nd, as well as Levon 2nd. The happiest part of this story is the return of the book. The fact is that, decades later, the book will again find its place in the collection “Armenia” and will continue to serve the researchers of today and tomorrow. So, check your family libraries carefully and if you find a book with a library stamp, return it and give it a new life.
