Today, a lecture on the topic "International Registry of Scientists ORCID-United" was held at the National Library of Armenia, in which more than 20 specialists from the Institutes of History and Art of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia - from the Gyumri branch of ASSU, Bryusov and European universities and other educational and scientific organizations took part. The Charents Museum, the Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing and Industrial Crops of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, Yerevan State University took part.
The head of the Department of Popularization of Literature Armine Vardanyan conducted it. As a non-profit organization, ORCID is a one-of-a-kind site for researchers, and scientists who want to combine their professional activities - education, work experience, grants, scientific articles - in a single domain. The lecture discussed the practical aspects of using ORCID, its advantages, registration and information exchange opportunities. The speaker detailed the rules for registering and using the system, drawing the participants' attention to some important provisions.
