The 150th birth anniversary of poet, prose writer, translator, publicist and cultural figure Avetik Isahakyan will be celebrated in 2025. It is planned to create a state jubilee commission to organize events for the famous intellectual’s birthday.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia is collecting proposals for the proper organization of the jubilee events. The proposals must be submitted in writing to the Minister of Education, Science and Higher Education Zhanna Andreasyan by January 30, 2025. The received proposals will be considered by the state commission for coordination of events dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Avetik Isahakyan's birth.
