Doctor of Historical Sciences Hayk Demoyan donated the Armenian and English language edition of A Picture Book of Armenian Business Life to the National Library of Armenia. As the author reports in the preface, the book is dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the founding of the world-famous Zildjian plate manufacturer and will demonstrate rich visual material reflecting the heritage of Armenian business accumulated over the centuries.

The edition, containing about 700 photographs, introduces the impressive history of Armenian trade and entrepreneurship of the 16th-20th centuries, combines testimonies, stories, and shows material values associated with the rich past of Armenian business life under one cover. The historical and historiographical material presented in the book is of great source study importance.

A friend of the library, Hayk Demoyan, has replenished the National Library's collections with many other valuable publications over the past years.
