«Armenia is the country of my love, says Kalle Kasper. The Estonian writer, being the husband of the late Armenian writer, poet, and prose writer Gohar Markosyan-Kasper, wrote about Armenian women. The Armenian woman is a gem that has been polished over the centuries. Armenian women do not become easy and calm, they are the product of the upbringing of many generations. The presentation of the Armenian translation of the book “Armenian Women” by Estonian writer Kalle Kasper took place at the National Library of Armenia. The opening speech of the event was delivered by Anna Chulyan, Director of the National Library of Armenia, who welcomed the guests and spoke about the importance of Armenian-Estonian cultural and literary ties.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia, H.E. Mrs. Marg Mardisalu-Kahar, was present at the presentation and spoke, emphasizing the stimulating role of such initiatives in strengthening friendship between the two nations. Next, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Estonia in Armenia, Avetik Ghukasyan, spoke about the importance of Armenian translations of Estonian literature. The author of the Armenian translation, Karine Khodikyan, provided a detailed overview of the book's translation and read an excerpt in Armenian. Stefano Bertoletti, the author of the Italian translation, who was visiting Armenia for the first time, also made a speech. He read an excerpt from the book in Italian.

The author of the English translation of the book, PhD Artsvi Bakhchinyan, also spoke about the importance of the book and the symbolic nature of holding the meeting at the National Library. The publisher of the book, and Director of the “Hayastan” Publishing House, PhD Vahagn Sargsyan, spoke about the importance of the Armenian edition of the book. Following the presentation, there was a thought-provoking and engaging conversation between the author and the attendees.
