Anna Chulyan's Report at the 3rd International Congress of Armenian Studies

hosted the 3rd International Congress of Armenian Studies on July 22–24 in honor of the 350th anniversary of the birth of Mekhitar Sebastatsi, a well-known scholar and theologian who founded the Mekhitarist Order.

The conference was also attended by Anna Chulyan, Director of the National Library of Armenia, who delivered a report on “Analysis of Armenia's Publishing Output Based on the Data of the National Library of Armenia.” She presented the activities of the National Library of Armenia as the national bibliographic center of Armenia, touching upon the work carried out towards the state registration of publishing products, the creation and development of national bibliography. Additionally discussed were the library’s activities as the national coordinator of international standard numbering and identification systems for scientific publications within the context of the ISBN, ISMN, ISSN, and Crossref/DOI national agencies.

The conference was attended by Armenologists from leading universities and scientific institutions from 16 countries around the world. Issues related to the development of Armenology, the preservation and study of manuscript heritage, and international cooperation were discussed within the framework of the event.
