On February 15, 2023, Bolat Imanbayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Armenia, visited the National library. Accompanied by the director of the Library Anna Chulyan, the Ambassador got acquainted with the library – an architectural monument designed by Alexander Tamanyan.  
After the excursion, the Ambassador donated the books by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as well as works by other Kazakh authors, to the library collections. During the meeting, Bolat Imanbayev presented a plan of events and projects for 2023, spoke about the upcoming anniversary programs. The issues of cross-cooperation between the libraries of Armenia and the national and scientific libraries of Kazakhstan were also discussed at the meeting.
