No author has ever had three novels in the top ten fiction titles read during the month in public and community libraries. That's exactly what young adult novelist Ruben Yesayan has accomplished. In the top ten, his books "The Monks Have a Secret," "I Am the Murderer," and "13 Kilometers from the Tunnel" came in first, third, and tenth place, respectively. "The Other" will undoubtedly rank among the top ten fiction books once his new, fourth book is added to library collections.

For the first time, interest in Agatha Christie's books has decreased among the most-watched books after over three years of monthly observations. Instead of the eight to ten titles from the Queen of Crime novels that were previously included, there are now only three. Due to high demand, many libraries are running out of copies of books by American-British female writer Tracy Chevalier's "Girl with a Pearl Earring," Russian writer Anna Jane, and Israeli writer Mike Omer.

The most read author in Yerevan this month was Ruben Yesayan; his novels are also leading in the Vedi community. In Gyumri, people were reading Grigor Keshishyan's epistolary romance "Far from You, with You." In the library of Echmiadzin, under the influence of the March 8 celebration, the theme of motherhood and maternal love was leading. In Hrazdan, people were reading "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini, "Animal Farm" by George Orwell, and "The Killed Dove" by Nar-Dos in Stepanavan.
