According to the May statistics for fiction served in public and community libraries, Ruben Yesayan maintained his leading position. Three of his books are included in the top five most circulated books. The second most sought-after author is Ashot Aghababyan.

The May top ten also includes Grigor Zohrap's novels, Niccolo Machiavelli's "The Prince," Khaled Hosseini's "A Thousand Splendid Suns," Albert Camus' "The Stranger," and Russian writer Anna Jane's "The Admirer." The May top ten includes 125 books, about 20 more than in previous months.

In Yerevan, the leading author is also Ruben Yesayan with his novels “The Monks Have a Secret” and “13km from the Tunnel.” Books like Elizabeth Gilbert's "Eat Pray Love," Khaled Hosseini's "And the Mountains Resounded," Ashot Aghababyan's "The Lookalike," Jojo Moyes' "The Star Giver," Mark Levy's "What If It's True," and others were in great demand in Yerevan community libraries. Along with several foreign authors whose works are in high demand, such as Agatha Christie, Erich Maria Remarque, Elif Shafak, and Khaled Hosseini, Armenian classical writers consistently appear on author lists with several volumes.

The most popular motivational books in May, according to library statistics, were "Willpower" by Hrachya Manukyan, "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" by Robin Sharma, and "The Greatest Salesman in the World" by Og Mandino.
