In November, the most popular books are detective stories by Agatha Christie (12 titles) and novels by Erich Maria Remarque (4). The top ten most popular books include two editions each by Alex Michaelides, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Elif Shafak, John Boyne, John Green, Jojo Moyes, Stephen King and William Saroyan. In the top ten most-read books in regional and public libraries of Armenia, there are three Armenian authors and seven foreign authors. This month, Yerevan readers favored the novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" by American writer Harper Lee. The book was included in the school curriculum in the United States in 1960.

The list of classical and modern Armenian authors includes Gurgen Mahari, Vardges Petrosyan, Ashot Aghababyan, Gohar Navasardyan, and Raffi, with his novels The Diary of a Cross-Stealer, The Fool (Khent’ë), and Samvel.

In her search for future happiness, the brave protagonist of Charlotte Bronte's socio-psychological novel "Jane Eyre" argues that no one can count on the future. Recently, the spirit of Jane Eyre visited the Gegharkunik regional library, and it seems that Charlotte Bronte's book has been in high demand both in Tavush and in the Ajapnyak district of Yerevan.

Hovhannes Tumanyan remains the most sought-after Armenian writer in regional libraries. His books are equally popular in children's libraries and adult sections. Paulo Coelho, Richard Bach, Gurgen Mahari, Vardges Petrosyan, and George Orwell are also among the most popular writers.
