Nathan Austin, Cultural Attaché of the US Embassy in Armenia, recently visited the National Library of Armenia. During the meeting with the Director of the Library, Anna Chulyan, the parties thanked each other for the years of fruitful cooperation.

For about twenty years, the book exchange between the National Library of Armenia and the Library of Congress was carried out with the support of the US Embassy, which covered the postage costs for sending and receiving books. Thanks to the donation of the US Embassy, American classics and modern works are available to readers in the general reading room of the library in an open format.

The Director of the Library told Nathan Austin about the upcoming programs of the library and development prospects, including deepening mutual ties with Armenian studies centers at American universities.
