In early October, the head of the book exchange department of the National Library of Armenia Maya Hayrapetyan, and the head of the service department Tatevik Tamazyan visited the Shirak Regional Library.

The purpose of the visit was to equip the regional library and 6 district libraries with 347 units of literature, to consult the regional library staff on the electronic service that has been operating in the Shirak Regional Library for the second year.

Tatevik Tamazyan made some adjustments on the spot to facilitate the organization of the electronic service and solve certain problems. Online ordering is open for readers. Tamazyan demonstrated the process of registration and service from both the reader's and the librarian's point of view. During the trip, the National Library staff also visited the library of Mikael Nalbandyan Shirak University, donating 40 units of professional literature.
