Today, August 23, the National Library of Armenia employees visited the Gegharkunik Regional Library. The regional library and several other community libraries received valuable gifts from the National Library. The regional libraries of Marzai, Sevan, Vardenis, Martuni, and Gavar also received gifts. A meeting with employees of more than 20 community, children’s, and school libraries of the Gegharkunik region was held according to a pre-agreed agenda. During the consultation, the reorganization of library work, the organization of library work in the digital environment, and other issues were discussed.

HAG employee Anitsa Genjyan held a seminar on “Electronic accounting and inventory of public library collections” for more than 30 library employees. Continuing the initiative launched last month, the National Library donated 22 copies of fiction and professional literature in Armenian and foreign languages to the Sevan prison library.
