The National Library of Armenia gives its readers — as well as partner libraries using interlibrary exchange services — the opportunity to use the information databases of the world-famous EBSCO company. On April 15, as part of the National Library Week, the library held a seminar How to Use EBSCO Information Databases, which was conducted by the head of the reading promotion department Armine Vardanyan.

During the meeting, the speaker presented the contents of the EBSCO databases, the topics of the materials posted in them, and demonstrated the wide possibilities for viewing and using them. EBSCO repositories are available both on the territory of the National Library and at home. To gain access to the repositories you must contact the service department and receive a username and password. After familiarizing themselves with the databases, the meeting participants agreed to hold another seminar to become more familiar with the capabilities of EBSCO and learn how to more fully use the capabilities of the databases. The seminar was attended by employees of university and public libraries, scientists of various specialties.
