Dear film lovers, starting March 11, the Ciné-club film screenings will resume at the National Library of Armenia. This year’s cinematic hero is one of the greatest masters in film history, the renowned French director Robert Bresson.

The retrospective program of Robert Bresson’s films — a favorite director of Tarkovsky, Godard, Marguerite Duras, and many others — will begin at 7:00 PM in the Tamanyan Grand Hall of the library with the screening of “Mouchette.”

The Ciné-club at the National Library of Armenia has been operating for the fourth consecutive year, in collaboration with the Filmadaran Film Culture Development NGO, the National Library, and the Embassy of France/Institut Français in Armenia, presenting film enthusiasts with a curated selection of French films. The films are screened in French with Armenian and English subtitles. This year, the Ciné-club offers a retrospective screening of Robert Bresson’s films.
