This year marks the 125th anniversary of the famous Armenian writer Aksel Bakunts. The Public Television of Armenia referred to Bakunts' book Alpine Violet published in Macedonian by the "Armenian Literature in Translation" program of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia and the National Library of Armenia. The "Armenian Literature in Translation" program aims to make the best examples of Armenian prose, poetry, drama, journalism, and children's literature available to readers around the world.
