A showing of Robert Bresson's iconic 1983 film "Money" marked the end of our fantastic Bresson series. The film, based on a Leo Tolstoy story, earned the master the Cannes Film Festival's "Best Director" award.

The protagonist of the movie, Yvonne, a delivery driver, loses his job due to a false accusation and, caught up in a web of injustice, eventually takes actions that cannot be undone. The French Embassy, the French Institute of Armenia, and the non-governmental organization "Filmadaran" organized the French Film Club's Bresson program for the fourth consecutive year, which concluded with this observation. French-language films with English and Armenian subtitles were shown in the Great Hall of the National Library of Armenia.

We appreciate everyone's involvement and the friendly conversations. See you at our movie club soon. Wait for updates.
