Yesterday, September 5, a literary round table talk with contemporary Russian writers was held at the National Library of Armenia on the initiative of the Institute of Translation (Moscow) as part of the program of Russia's participation in international book festivals and book fairs.
The library featured the following speakers: writer, playwright, screenwriter, art critic and TV presenter Oleg Shishkin, prose writer, publicist, researcher of the history of literature Vladislav Otroshenko, writer and journalist Sergey Belyakov, writer and journalist Denis Lukyanov, as well as Russian-speaking Armenian writer, poet, member of the Writers' Union of Armenia Liana Shakhverdyan. The meeting was moderated by Anna Esparsa, historian, cultural scientist, curator of international exhibitions.
The event was also attended by Russian-speaking Armenian writer, member of the Writers' Union of Armenia Hovhannes Aznauryan. The first day of literary meetings was dedicated to the genre of the documentary novel. The topic of the meeting was "Bestseller of the 21st Century". Today, September 6, a creative meeting with a contemporary Russian writer, historian, literary critic Sergey Belyakov will be held, which will be conducted by literary critic Ivan Rodionov. The topic of the meeting: "Ostap Bender. Character creators and prototypes - real and fictional."
