President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the National Library of Armenia on the occasion of Book Giving Day. During his visit, he got acquainted with projects and technical innovations. Accompanied by the director of the National Library Anna Chulyan, President Vahagn Khachaturyan got acquainted with the digitized and rare collections of the library, the conditions for storing books, and learned about existing problems.  

On the occasion of Book Giving Day, the President of the Republic of Armenia donated new editions to 10 regional, and 15 district libraries, as well as the National Library, to replenish and update collections.
