The National Library, 10 regional, 6 city, and 2 community libraries, and their branches, participated in compiling the January 2026 book map of Armenia. 107 books are included in the unified list of fiction. The world's most translated author, the queen of detective stories, Agatha Christie, has 10 titles, the famous Armenian novelist Raffi, and Turkish writer Elif Shafak have 4. Khaled Hosseini, Mark Levy, Ruben Yesayan, William Saroyan, Remarque, and the Russian author who wrote under the pen name Anna Jane have 3 titles each on the list of most sought-after books.

The book "Chaos" by Alexander Shirvanzadeh is at the top of the list. The dozens of works that libraries are most interested in are also Paruyr Sevak's and Hamo Sahyan's poetry, Vahan Totovents' autobiographical novel "Life on the Ancient Roman Road," Grigor Zohrap's novels, Muratsan's historical novel "Gevorg Marzpetuni," and other school assignments.

The book "Angels and Demons" by well-known popular author Dan Brown is ranked second in the January combined top ten. The young people's favorite novelist, Ruben Yesayan, comes next with his novels "I Am the Killer" and "13 km from the Tunnel."
