Recently, Anna Chulyan, Director of the National Library of Armenia, hosted Elise Zahi, Attaché of the Central and Eastern European Representation of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF). Numerous initiatives aimed at fostering closer cultural and educational ties between Armenia and Francophone nations were discussed during the meeting. Joint events with the OIF, training programs for librarians, and the implementation of new cultural initiatives and exhibitions.

An important part of the discussion was also the French literature corners operating in the National Library of Armenia, as well as in several regional and community libraries, which are constantly replenished with new books. French literature and important resources about the Francophone cultural legacy kept in the National Library's holdings piqued Elise Zahi's interest.

The meeting served as a crucial foundation for productive collaboration targeted at advancing Armenian libraries and fortifying ties between Armenia and Francophone nations.
