Anna Chulyan, Director of the National Library of Armenia, has been re-elected for a five-year term as a member of the IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions) Professional Committee on National Libraries by an majority of votes.

The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) is the leading international organization representing the interests of library and information services and their users.

IFLA serves as a coordinator for regulations, concepts, standards, guidelines, and benchmarks in the field of library and information science, contributing to the improvement of library and information services delivery. IFLA represents the interests of library and related professionals worldwide. The National Library of Armenia has been a member of IFLA since 1996.
