On April 19, 2023, within the framework of the National Libraries Week in Armenia, National Library of Armenia organized a round table discussion dedicated to the problems of regional libraries. The discussion was attended by employees of the Armavir, Gegharkunik, Kotayk and Vayots Dzor regions, National Children's Library named after Khnko Aper and of Yerevan Central City Library named after Avetik Isahakyan.;  
The librarians exchanged views on the effective working principles with library collections in urban and rural areas, on collaboration between the libraries and formation of a modern library system.  
Later, the director of the National Library of Armenia Anna Chulyan and the general director of the Moscow House in Yerevan Vahram Karapetyan signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation. The memorandum provides for holding joint trainings, master classes, exhibitions, seminars and conferences. In addition, enhancement trainings for regional librarians will be organized.
