A meeting with translator Hasmik Shalunts took place at the National Library of Armenia as part of Francophonie month, commemorating the 115th anniversary of the birth of Henri Troyat (Levon Torosyan), a well-known French-Armenian writer, literary critic, and member of the French Academy. During the meeting, the Armenian translations of Troya were presented, in particular, the novel "Anna Preday", which enjoys special love among Armenian readers and is often included in the National Library's monthly list of most circulated books.

Hasmik Shalunts spoke about the novel's ideological layers, the psychological depth of the characters, and translational nuances, emphasizing the importance of the work for the modern reader. The translator asserts that Troyat's prose necessitates a meticulous and nuanced approach, as each expression bears a psychological weight; the objective of translation is not only to convey the narrative but also to evoke a similar emotional resonance for the Armenian audience.
