Donations from Armenian communities overseas keep the National Library of Armenia stocked with fresh Armenian Studies literature. The library has received books and press samples that depict the history and culture of the Armenian population of Nakhichevan on the Don thanks to a donation from Sergey Sayadov, the executive director of the organization. The community newspaper "Nakhichevan on the Don," which covers public life, education, and culture and has long been one of the community's primary sources of information, is included in the donation. The "Chronicle of Nakhichevan-on-Don" by Vladislav Smirnov, which is regarded as one of the most essential sources for the history of the Armenians of the Don and contains extensive documentary material, biographies, and archival data, also holds significant importance.
The map-album "Map of Nakhichevan on the Don" depicts the city's historical and cultural landscape, including its neighborhoods, churches, monuments, and historical details. The 1989 book "We call this land the Motherland" is a compilation of children's song lyrics with a patriotic focus that is meant for schoolchildren. A contemporary method is presented in the guide "How to create an Armenian youth organization and not burn out," which offers helpful guidance on forming youth organizations, fostering teamwork, and preserving psychological stability.
A more comprehensive image of the history, culture, and public life of the Armenian community in the Don can be formed thanks to the donation, which is a significant contribution to the library's funding. We are grateful to Sergey Sayadov and the "Armenian Community of Nakhichevan on the Don" for their invaluable donation and ongoing collaboration.
