The collection of the National Library of Armenia continues to be enriched with important and valuable Armenian studies. Poet, Armenologist, linguist, Doctor of Psychology from the Sorbonne University in Paris, Master of Arts in Armenian Studies from the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO) Hilda Kalfayan-Panosyan has donated to the library with her autograph the work “Les “Justes“ face au génocide des Arméniens”.
Hilda Kalfayan-Panosyan's book "The Righteous Against the Armenian Genocide" addresses a little-known, even ignored, aspect of the genocide committed against the Armenian people in 1915.
It is about everyone who assisted, rescued, protected, and cared for Armenians during that tragic period. They include Americans, French, Danes, Swedes, and Norwegians, among others. Admirable men and women who assisted Armenians by just listening to their conscience—some even risking their lives in the process. Readers and scholars will soon be able to access the book.
