Another film screening took place at the Cine Club of the National Library of Armenia, this time presenting the audience with Marcel L'Herbier's legendary film "The Inhuman Woman" (1924).
This exceptional piece of French silent film transports the audience to the luxurious and innovative world of Art Deco by fusing science fiction, drama, and the spirit of 1920s avant-garde art. In addition to being one of the most audacious film projects of its era, the picture's creative solutions, visual boldness, and cinematic impact still astound audiences today.
As part of the Cine Club's "Cinema Changes the World: France 1895-2026" program, this screening once again highlighted how cinema has shaped cultural, aesthetic, and social perceptions in different eras. Another movie night brought film enthusiasts together to reconsider global cinematic masterpieces and learn about the rich history of French filmmaking.
