A literary exhibition entitled "Saroyan's Cultural Influence and Armenian Publications" was opened by the National Library of Armenia as part of the "Saroyan Days" program. Only translations of Saroyan's writings in Armenian were on display. Scott Sedrakian, the president of the "William Saroyan" Foundation, was the event's honored guest. The National Library will display one of Saroyan's original, unpublished paintings, which he donated to the institution. Speaking about the significance of Saroyan's literary legacy, Scott Sedrakian said he hoped the National Library would eventually have a corner dedicated to Saroyan.

Anna Chulyan, Director of the National Library of Armenia, presented the “William Saroyan” digital collection created in the Armenian Libraries Collection Catalog https://is.gd/Mc3mhY , which will be continuously supplemented with new materials, becoming a complete repository of Saroyan’s literary heritage. Zaven Boyajyan, translator of Saroyan’s works, spoke about the new translations of Saroyan’s publications, their importance, and necessity. According to him, today, more than ever, it is necessary to return to Saroyan’s works with new translations. “Many people think that Saroyan’s works are exhausted by already published collections, but I assure you that this is not the case at all. Saroyan’s numerous works are particularly important for us Armenians, and they must definitely be translated.”

The ARLOOPA animation image also allowed visitors to see and hear Saroyan in Azgayin; Saroyan's works and lasting influence have been returned to the National Library https://is.gd/SWper5.
