Today, a meeting was held at the National Library of Armenia with researcher, PhD in Psychology, Professor at Brown University in Rhode Island, Vitaly Yanko. One of Vitaly Yanko’s most important research works is “Armenica.” It is a unique bibliographic study that brings together a wide range of foreign-language books related to Armenia and Armenians, including both newly discovered and previously known sources not included in various bibliographic lists.

The book contains information on 1935 Western, European, Asian, and other non-Armenian sources, covering materials published from the 16th century to 2015. “Armenica” is also distinguished by the fact that for the first time Latin lists of foreign-language books related to Armenians are systematically presented, in most cases accompanied by authors' annotations. “Armenica” was published in only 50 copies and was intended only for large centers and libraries of Armenian studies. A number of the author's other works on Armenology, which have both scientific, documentary, and literary value, were presented. At the end of the meeting, Vitaly Yanko donated his signed books to the National Library. The books will complement the library's collection and will soon be available to readers and researchers as important sources on Armenian studies.
