Seventeen libraries and library networks participated in compiling the May Top 10 list. The combined list, which opens with the psychological novel "Manon Lescaut" by the greatest French writer of the 18th century, Abbe Prevost, and ends with the name of the Armenian medieval poet of the 13th-14th centuries, Frik, contains 112 book titles.

Agatha Christie's triumphant run continues, with 8 of her books included in the list. Erich Maria Remarque and Gohar Navasardyan are included in the list of most borrowed books with 4 books each, Honore de Balzac, Vardges Petrosyan and Ashot Aghababyan are included with 3 books each. Poets and poetry collections are rare guests in the monthly top ten. Among the Armenian classics, Paruyr Sevak, Charents, Hamo Sahyan were in the top ten, and among the contemporaries, Husik Ara. So, it is a pleasant surprise to see books by two Diaspora Armenian writers on the May list: Moushegh Ishkhan “Light Sadness” and Zahrat “Word Next to Word,” which were in demand in Yerevan libraries.

Muratsan's novel "Gevorg Marzpetuni" was the most popular book in the regional libraries of Shirak and Syunik, while Ruben Yesayan and Ashot Aghababyan each had two books on the May book map. Erich Maria Remarque's book "Three Friends" was the favorite among Yerevan readers. According to data from regional and city libraries, books by Nar-Dos, Ruben Yesayan, John Green, Muratsan, and Jojo Moyes were in the greatest demand in May. According to statistics, contemporary readers favor books and short stories with a brief but suspenseful plot.
