On May 31, Stepanavan City Library of Lori Region employees visited the National Library of Armenia. During their visit to the library, they became acquainted with the work of various departments, studied reference and bibliographic databases, digital services provided to readers, and established useful partnerships. A group of librarians visited the departments for personnel, partnership cooperation and book exchange, as well as the processing department for Armenian materials, bibliography and librarianship, and services. Our experts presented their work and answered questions.

Acquaintance with the library ended with a tour of the building and a visit to the Literary Museum, where they were met and greeted by director Balasan Harutyunyan, after which he presented the history of the Armenian book and the rich exposition of the museum. In the evening, Director of the National Library Anna Chulyan met with employees of the Stepanavan City Library. Ms. Chulyan expressed her readiness to provide advisory assistance during the upcoming reforms in the Stepanavan library. In turn, the head of the Stepanavan City Library, Sofia Duniamalyan, expressed gratitude on behalf of the staff for the warm welcome and a meaningful, eventful day.
