This week, we received gifts from the editor-in-chief of the Zion magazine published in Jerusalem, Rev. Nerseh Aloyan. The Jerusalem editions depicted in the photographs were published decades ago and are not in the library’s collections.
The place of the Armenian book is in the National Library of Armenia. Out-of-print editions published many years ago are possible only through partner libraries and individual donors. Editions published in the Diaspora come to the library almost exclusively from patriots like Rev. Nerseh Aloyan, who helped to enrich the collection of Armenian books. Thank you.
