The new cultural initiative «Audio Library» was launched at the National Library of Armenia, in cooperation with the «ARAR» choir on the birthday of Yeghishe Charents. The project began with a concert of choral compositions based on Charents' poems. In her welcome, Anna Chulyan, director of the National Library of Armenia, highlighted the importance of this initiative. The National Library of Armenia was happy to collaborate with Gor Melkumyan, head and conductor of the “ARAR” choir, to implement the project in the library space, she noted.

Gor Melkumyan spoke about the concept of the project, choir enthusiasm, and plans. He notes that the “Audio Library” is an ongoing effort that will gradually be filled with new works, so readers can experience literature in musical form as well. Readers can now freely utilize the "Audio Library" in the library's large exhibition hall to hear choruses composed based on Yeghishe Charents' poetry, and sung by the "ARAR" choir. There are already pieces by modern Armenian composers in the sound library.

The choir also performed several pieces from its repertoire in the National Library's exhibition hall as a conclusion of the event, providing the audience with enjoyable and unforgettable musical moments.
