The statistical data analysis of the Avetik Isaakyan City Library and its branches made in March has given us a lot to think about. The consolidated list of eleven libraries includes 79 books, 31 of which also have been included in February top ten list.

The most requested author in libraries is Agatha Christie. Nine of her books were included in the list. Ashot Agababyan and Erich Maria Remarque follow the Queen of detective stories — each one with four books. Agababyan's novel The Last Time We Live about the legendary 20th-century Yerevan weightlifter Sergo Ambartsumyan and The Lord of Secrets about detective Major General Hovhannes Agayanets are the most popular books in the Ararat region. The novels by Elif Shafak, a British writer and essayist with Turkish roots, are also in great demand.

It is nice to see a large presence of Armenian writers on libraries' top-lists. When comparing top lists, Samvel by Raffi, Chaos by Alexandra Shirvanzade, Gevorg Marzpetuni by Muratsan are standing out. Among contemporary Armenian writers library users prefer to read are the novels by David Samvelyan, Aram Pachyan, Goar Navasardyan, Anushavan Pogosyan, Gurgena Khandjyan, Sune Sevada and others.
