The National Library specialists showcased the results of their training abroad

Hundreds of professionals, managers, and experts from the library sectors of CIS countries attended the "New Generation" program of the "Educational Cooperation of Libraries" international project from May 16–21. Professional training courses, workshops, roundtables, topic discussions, presentations, and experience-sharing sessions were among the approximately 80 events held during the conference. Current developments in the library industry, digital transformation procedures, innovative reader engagement strategies, and successful experience planning the operations of contemporary libraries were all covered.

Today, employees of the National Library of Armenia, Armenuhi Vardanyan, Katya Antonyan, and Ida Margarova, shared their experiences and knowledge gained during the conference. They presented the results of the two phases of the program, firstly, referring to the one-week online training course entitled “Emotional Exhaustion and Strategies for Overcoming Professional Stress,” and then to the “Library Blogger School” professional program held in Yekaterinburg. The course examined modern tools and methods for digital communication in libraries, effective social media management, content creation, and increasing public engagement. During the meeting, an active exchange of professional experience took place, new opportunities for cooperation and practical solutions to enhance the efficiency of library activities were discussed.
