Call us

Within the framework of Book Giving Day, the National Library of Armenia continues to receive valuable donations from partner institutions. The Khachatur Abovyan House-Museum has donated to the library its two latest publications — “Travel Notes” and “Prose Works.”
The book “Travel Notes” presents Khachatur Abovyan’s travel writings in chronological order, which constitute one of the most important parts of his literary heritage. His journeys with European scholars and distinguished figures provide valuable and reliable information not only about the villages, cities, and mountains of Armenia, but also form a rich autobiographical collection that reveals significant episodes of Abovyan’s life.
The collection “Prose Works” presents exceptional examples from Khachatur Abovyan’s prose writings, which summarize the great writer’s philosophical reflections on various spheres of life, revealing the depth of his intellectual world and his dialogue with the times. The books will soon be available in the reading halls of the National Library of Armenia. We express our gratitude to the Khachatur Abovyan House-Museum for its continued cooperation and for the donation of these literary works.
