Today, the National Library of Armenia, in association with the M. Abeghyan Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, hosted a panel presentation honoring Western Armenian women editors. The substantial contribution of Western Armenian women intellectuals to the establishment and growth of the press was discussed throughout the meeting, with a focus on their active participation in public life, education, and culture. The participants had the chance to learn about the work of female editors, the magazines they created and edited, and their impact on the formation of public opinion.

With a focus on their leading role in the advancement of women's education, the creation of public self-awareness, and the advancement of national thinking, the event sought to highlight the social, educational, and cultural activities of Western Armenian female intellectuals in a fresh way.

The event included the opening of a thematic exhibition in the National Library of Armenia's Tamanyan Grand Exhibition Hall, which featured individual displays of periodicals created, edited, or published with the active participation of Western Armenian female intellectuals. During the meeting, the book "Elpis Kesaratsyan: Essays, Poems, Letters", compiled, edited and annotated by Naira Hambardzumyan, was also presented.
